Emily Heath is a seasoned technology and cybersecurity executive with experience leading complex global F100 organizations through technology, security, and cultural transformations. At Cyberstarts, she is responsible for advising and working alongside early-stage founders as they find product-market fit and build their product. She oversees Cyberstarts’s Sunrise Program and helps manage Cyberstarts’s extensive network of CISO advisors.
Prior to joining Cyberstarts, Emily served as SVP & Chief Trust and Security Officer at DocuSign where she oversaw cybersecurity, physical security, and customer trust functions, as well as chairing their ESG Committee. Prior to DocuSign, Emily was the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at United Airlines, where she oversaw the company’s global information security program as well the IT regulatory, governance and risk management functions. Before her role at United Airlines, she was the CISO at Fortune 500 architecture, engineering and construction firm, AECOM. Emily has held various IT leadership positions in enterprise applications, ERP and supply chain, web development, and program management. She started her career as a detective in a financial crimes unit.
Emily currently serves on the Board of Directors of Wiz, Legit Security, and Gen Digital.
Emily lives in Austin, TX with her wife, Kit and is an open advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. She loves traveling around the world, but is always happy to come home to their family dog.
