With three decades of experience scaling market leading enterprise software companies, Adam Aarons is a proven go-to-market and sales leader.. At Cyberstarts, he plays a critical role in guiding portfolio companies—from shaping their earliest go-to-market strategies to helping them scale with precision to break-out velocity.

Before joining Cyberstarts, Adam served as Chief Revenue Officer at multiple high-growth companies. Most notably, he spent six years at Okta, where he scaled the business from $1M to over $300M in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and led the company through a successful IPO. His leadership track record also includes key roles at Drata, Classy, BMC Software, BladeLogic, OpenPAges, Agile Software, and PTC.

Since 2017, Adam has been advising and investing in early-stage startups, supporting companies such as BigPanda, Veza, Clari, GoFundMe, AttackIQ, CloudZero, and Linx Security. This advisory work led to his connection with Gili Raanan and to joining Cyberstarts in 2024 as a Go-to-Market Venture Partner.  Adam was named Operating Partner in 2025, bringing his deep expertise and passion for mentoring founding teams to the forefront of the firm’s value-add strategy.
